PART 1
1) they always have nucleic acid of either DNA or RNA, and a protein coat.
2)they can have a single-stranded DNA or double-stranded DNA
3)

4)a example of a animal disease is Coronaviruses and an example of a plant disease is Tobacco mosaic virus

5)They are neither living nor they are non living because when they are inside an organism they are alive and can reproduce but outside the organism they are not alive, because they dont have the ability to reproduce outside the living organism.

6)yes there are! there are viruses that fight cancer.

PART 2

Norovirus is an RNA virus that has struck in U.K and has sickened a lot of France and New Zealand and has now found its way to America sickening over 267 million people around the world. Racing person-to-person across the country. It's a severe stomach flu that is easy to get, and hard to prevent. It is transmitted by fecally-contaminated food or water, by person-to-person contact, and via aerosolization of the virus and subsequent contamination of surfaces. Many more of us, perhaps 50% more, could become violently ill. There are now flu shots for Norovirus. Norovirus had caused over 200,000 deaths and is very dangerous. Norovirus started in 2009.

Bacteria

The bacteria was pretty big but the one with most was the two; that was ms.spains door knob and that had a lot of bacteria on it and also the stairs railing.
A (top left) was from the stairs railing
B (top right) was the tap waters button
C (bottom left) was someone's locker
D (bottom right) was Ms Spain's class rooms doorknob

We used four kinds of controls on a small piece of paper and the only one that seemed to work was the bleach

Reflecting on my progress

I am proud of my Evolution video because we worked hard on it for our final project of the chapter. My second piece of work is the DNA cut and paste image we made and posted on the board. My third piece of work that i liked was the animal classification blog. i chose those pieces because I put a lot of Time in to it and worked hard on it. My binder shows that i finish most of my work but have some missing things and have all the notes filled in. My binder is very easy for me to access and find things. My blog doesn't really show much because i haven't kept up but i am now going back and finishing them up. Engagement in class means that i am paying attention and learning what is being taught. examples of me being engaged in class is me doing all my notes and interacting with people around me. My goal is to get an A in bio and the only way is if I improve in finishing all hw and doing all the blogs. My hopes are too have a good time and getting a good grade.
